Plenty of places in Florida are idyllic. Much of Florida, particularly South Florida, has become incredibly crowded over the years. Miami-Dade County, the southernmost county in the state, is especially desirable, and, therefore, much of it has become highly developed. If you want a quieter, more suburbanized life, you can still enjoy life in Miami-Dade County. Palmetto Bay is a quaint village in the county; it has a total area is 8.8 square miles, and, as of 2000, it had a population of 24,469 people.
Palmetto Bay has several schools, both public and private, for the benefit of residents. Three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school correspond to the city. There are also many private schools, so you have plenty of options.
Once, the Burger King headquarters was located close by, but it has since moved elsewhere in Miami-Dade County.
The village itself is relatively new, and it was incorporated in 2002. It is made of the previous census designated places of East Perrine and Cutler.
Palmetto Bay is situated in a particularly desirable part of Miami-Dade County. It’s right on the coast, fronting a somewhat protected stretch of water. It’s a smart place to live if you want to open up a business in the calmer village as opposed to in a big city. You can enjoy camaraderie, Florida nature, and, of course, the water. Palmetto Bay is perfect if you want to kick-start a career or start having a more relaxing life.
