In higher education, Miramar has trade schools DeVry University, University of Phoenix, Strayer University, and Le Cordon Bleu, as well as Nova Southeastern University, Broward College, and Ana Mendez University. Miramar features resources for the outdoor enthusiast, including 22 parks within neighborhoods. To encourage community on a broader level, Miramar also has ten community parks and a regional park.
