Palm Beach County Sales Market Forecast

Our forecast for 2009 is for, without a doubt, a buyer’s market, but mostly for bank owned, foreclosure, short sale and priced right properties.  There are a few contributing factors:
1. Interest rates are at their lowest in decades
2. Bank owned, foreclosure and short sale properties are at pre-craze prices
3. With the instability of the stock market and banks, and government securities selling at near 0% return, priced right real estate is becoming the safest investment. Gold has historically been the safe haven but appears to be overpriced.
4. 3% down FHA loan requirements have eased making it easier to qualify.
